Just over 2000 years ago, the world experienced a total loss of hope and promise. The savior who was supposed to be the answer became the martyr. Darkness fell. Total loss was felt by his followers. Hopelessness had won.
We know now that it wasn’t the end of the story, and that’s what we celebrate. But together this Easter, we’ll go on a journey from Friday, to Saturday, to Sunday–
because a lot can happen in 3 days.
Our Easter services are on Saturday, April 4 at 12:30, 2:00 and 3:30 PM, as well as Sunday, April 5 at 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 AM. Bring your entire family and all your friends too. GLC Kids environments will be available at all six services, see below for more on this & students!
Yes! We’ll have environments for newborns through 5th graders at all 6 services. Our middle school Easter celebration will happen at 2:00 PM on Saturday and again at 10:00 AM on Sunday. High schoolers will be getting together during the 3:30 PM on Saturday and 11:30 AM on Sunday.
If you’re new to Great Lakes, let a member of our parking team know when entering the lot so we can treat you as our VIP. They’ll direct you to a spot reserved just for you and your family. We also have reserved parking for parents with young children.
Not sure what to wear? Don’t overthink it. Whether you prefer to dress up or keep it casual, you’ll fit right in. We’re much more focused on welcoming you than what you’re wearing. Just get here, we’re so excited to meet you!
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live at 2:00 PM on Saturday or 10:00 AM on Sunday. You’ll also be able to watch it back on our website and YouTube channel.
(P.s.- research shows that 80% of people would be willing to come to church if a friend invited them)
