At the same time, many intuitively feel a sense of reverence and awe in the world. So in this series we’ll confront the complicated and age-old question, “Who is God and why does it really matter”?

FeedOne is an groundbreaking organization that feeds children in third world countries for just $10 a month. We are partnering with FeedOne to further our global impact by throwing "FeedOne Weekend" where you, yes you, can sign up to support a child for a month... or two... or a year! FirstStep Bowling Benefit - Sat, June 29, 2013
Grab your ball, put on your shoes & throw the family in the car because this is one event you won't want to miss! We are throwing a benefit for FirstStep, a non-profit organization in Kenosha, by bowling our brains out! Convoy of Hope - Sat, July 27, 2013
We're partnering with Convoy of Hope this summer as they throw a big community outreach event right here in Kenosha. They will be pampering the community for a day and we are sending a team of Great Lakers to help make an impact in our local community. They are looking for volunteers to step up and help with this event that could reach around 5,000 people. Be the change you want to see in our community. Here are the details:

There will be many areas that are in need of volunteers such as giving free haircuts, dental and medical screenings, passing out groceries, concessions, family portraits, security, and a giant kid's area that will need many adult volunteers.

SoleHope Shoe Party! - Fri, August 02, 2013
Have you ever counted how many pairs of shoes you own? It's probably more than one. Join other GLC ladies on Friday, August 2nd @ 7pm at the GLC Operations Center (7600 75th Street, Suite 112, Kenosha, WI 53142) as we cut patterns to send some shoes to kids in Africa who can't afford any! Bring a bottle of wine, some scissors and an old pair of jeans that you don't wear anymore to help us make a global impact! Women & Children's Horizons Painting Party - Sat, August 03, 2013
Women & Children's Horizons is a Kenosha-based non-profit that GLC has partnered with many times in the past! Join us on Saturday, August 3rd @ 1pm as we have an opportunity to bless them by painting one of the shelters where they house the victims of domestic violence & abuse.
